camp momment

“Is it going to work Cruz?” I asked as our creation started to fall. “Let's make its legs and roof stronger.” Cruz said as the smell of mac`n`cheese stopped us from moving. “Hurry up” said Cruz quickly as we started to wrap paper around the legs of our bird feeder. Then the roof fell off but I stuck it back on. Just then Mrs Bird said “five more minutes” and then our team started to freak out. The water and seed containers were placed on. Then another layer of paper on the legs for stability. Then the dreaded countdown….10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and finish.” Next thing I knew I could taste tears of joy and sweat “I guess that was the end of the bird feeder challenge” said Cruz and at the same time I was thinking “yeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssss we did it,but is it good enough to win?”

Log cabin I started walking down the stony, rocky path on a sticky hot day where the clouds were absent. Just up ahead I saw a dark bridge going across a still stream, disappearing into a forest. As I crossed the bridge I found myself becoming more enclosed by the forest. As the amount of trees grew so did the darkness and the sun started to vanish behind the leaves. I had no idea where I was. The grass was overgrown and the only thing I could hear was the crunch of small flowers as I stepped on them. Suddenly I bumped into a thick tree, I got back up with a big bump on my head. As I turn a corner I hear the flicker of a fire. And when I looked I saw the most ridiculous thing. A giant log cabin with a campfire flickering in the dark. It stood at an amazing 20 feet, it almost blended in with the darkness of night. The stairs up were so rotten they almost crumpled as I took my first step. I cefaly went up the stairs to the front door,and I opened it... By liam.k
